About brightloaf

brightloaf is an anxiety support app that combines 20-minute therapy sessions with real therapists, daily check-ins, and personalised tools. All designed to fit into your life, not the other way around.

Yes. Our therapists are fully qualified and registered with BACP or UKCP. The sessions are shorter, but they're real therapy, just in a format that works for modern life.

Anyone dealing with anxiety who wants support that fits their schedule. Whether it's general anxiety, social anxiety, health worries, panic attacks, or work stress. If traditional therapy has felt too big, too long, or too hard to access, brightloaf is for you.

Therapy Sessions

20 minutes is long enough to make real progress, short enough to fit into a lunch break. Our therapists are trained specifically for this format. Research shows brief, focused therapy works.

New therapy slots go live every Sunday at 6pm. Open the app, browse available times, and pick the slot that works for your week.

Every Sunday at 6pm, we release fresh therapy slots for the week ahead. Check in, grab your slot, and start the week with support already in place.

Slots can fill up, but there's always next Sunday. You'll still have full access to the app, including check-ins, tools, and personalised content between sessions.

Yes. You can browse therapist profiles and book with whoever feels right. You can also switch therapists anytime.

That depends on you and your therapist. Sessions are confidential and tailored to what you're dealing with. Some people use them to work through a specific moment, others to build longer-term coping strategies.

Yes, if slots are available. Some people prefer weekly sessions, others book as needed. There's no fixed commitment.

You can cancel or reschedule up to 12 hours before your session for a full credit. Cancellations within 12 hours, or no-shows, are not refunded.

Therapists

All brightloaf therapists are registered with BACP or UKCP and have specialist training in anxiety. They're also trained to deliver effective therapy in a 20-minute format.

Yes. Every session is with a real, qualified human therapist.

That's okay. You can switch to a different therapist anytime.

The App

  • 20-minute therapy sessions (booked separately)
  • Daily check-ins (Glow)
  • Grounding and breathing tools
  • Articles matched to your anxiety
  • Mood tracking and personalised insights

Glow is your daily check-in. It helps us understand how you're doing so we can show you content that actually fits. We use AI to help with this, but your data is kept secure and private.

No. But the more you use Glow, the more useful your insights become.

Yes. The tools, techniques, and check-ins are available whether or not you book sessions.

Membership & Payments

Membership unlocks app features, earlier access to weekly session drops, and lower session prices. Pricing varies by region and is shown clearly in the app before you subscribe.

You can cancel anytime through your App Store or Google Play settings. Your membership stays active until the end of the billing period.

You can cancel within 14 days for a full refund, as long as you haven't booked or attended a therapy session. If you've used a session (including a discounted or free one), its full retail value will be deducted from any refund. After 14 days, subscriptions are non-refundable but remain active until the end of your billing period.

Sessions cannot be refunded once they've taken place. If something didn't feel right, contact [email protected] and we'll try to help.

If you cancel within 14 days but have already used a discounted or free session, the full retail value of that session (not the discounted price) will be deducted from any refund due. If the value equals or exceeds your subscription fee, no refund will be due.

The app is available worldwide. Therapy sessions are currently available to users in the UK only.
